Nick Humbert
Varsity Assistant Coach
|
| Nick Humbert is entering his first year as an assistant coach on the
Highlanders’ Varsity squad. Before joining McLean High School, Coach
Humbert coached at Coral Glades High School in Coral Springs, Florida,
northwest of Fort Lauderdale. He served as the Junior Varsity head coach as
well as the Varsity assistant head coach for the past two seasons. Coach
Humbert was a four-year starter at pitcher/catcher at Washington High School
in Washington, Pennsylvania, outside of Pittsburgh. He was a member of the
1998 PIAA State Championship team and a member of two district championship
teams. Coach Humbert graduated from Florida State University in 2004
with a degree in Education, and earned a Masters degree in Political Science
in 2005 from Ball State University. He is currently working on a second
masters at George Mason University in Educational Leadership. Coach Humbert
is a History teacher at McLean High School and lives with his wife, Renee in
Ashburn. |
