Jason McMahon is entering his fifth season
with the McLean Baseball program as a Varsity Assistant. Coach McMahon has
been an integral part of Highlander baseball since his arrival prior to the
2006 season, working with all position players as well as hitters. Prior
to the 2008 season, Coach McMahon was named Assistant Head Coach. He
continues to serve in this capacity, helping to oversee all areas of the
McLean Baseball program.
As catcher at
George C. Marshall High School from 1992-1995, Coach
McMahon received All-District Honors during all three years of his varsity
career. He was also selected as the Co-Player of the Year for his school and
received Honorable Mention All-Met honors his Senior Year. After
graduation, Coach McMahon attended George Mason University, and spent the
1996 season on the Patriots roster.
Coach McMahon works at Players Edge in Tysons
Corner, where he is continuing his passion for baseball helping players
improve their skills. He lives with his wife, Meg, and new-born son, Brody
in McLean.
