Adam Tidball
Varsity Assistant Coach

Adam Tidball is entering his first season as a Varsity assistant coach with the McLean Highlanders, where he will specialize in working with the team’s catchers and hitters.  Coach Tidball is a 2005 graduate of the University of Richmond, where he excelled as a standout catcher for the Spiders from 2001-2003 before being drafted in the 28th round by the Chicago Cubs and signing a professional contract.  As a sophomore at Richmond, Adam helped the University break the school record in wins (53-13) and ranking (9th in the country) and led them to their first appearance in the Super Regionals in school history. That year, he received 1st Team Atlantic-10, VaSID All-State Team, and ABCA All-East Region, while catching 61 of teams 66 games.

Coach Tidball graduated from Georgetown Prep in 2000 where he was a three time All-IAC, All-County, and All-Met athlete.

Adam graduated from the University of Richmond in 2005 with a degree in Business Management.  He currently lives in Washington DC and helps to run Next Level Baseball.
